Artwork, what to do with it? Why do it at all? Who needs more art? All of these questions help bring me to today. I have the idea for a children's book. I think it is interesting. I want to write & illustrate with vitality and commitment to my readers.
In 2008 I began my greeting card line which has enjoyed mild success. The number of sales are slowly increasing with each new distribution. The cards with my paintings on are selling best.
However, I have a difficult time being brief, sitting long enough to paint, draw or write. The next logical step commit to write and illustrate a book. I will write it for myself and do something I have always thought I could do and do well.
Now seems like a good time to start fine tuning my skills. "Artistry Aspiring to Greatness."
